At the time, they had a small website on a domain that was not ideal. The team at The Differents were looking for a marketing partner to collaborate with on website design, SEO, content creation, social media management, Legitscript certification, and paid ads management.
The Differents is a residential and outpatient addiction treatment center located in Reno, Nevada, dedicated to offering a treatment experience that stands out from other programs. Nestled near the Sierra Nevada mountains and Lake Tahoe, they provide programs including inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, withdrawal management, and medication-assisted treatment. Their focus is on treating the whole person—mind, body, and soul—with private, luxury suites and personalized care.
As a new facility, The Differents wanted to begin treating clients, and they needed admits through the door as soon as possible. We needed to launch a new website on a different domain, which meant that they had no pre-existing SEO authority. The MGMT Digital team needed to build visibility from the ground up. The primary goal was to rapidly generate leads for their admissions team, driving traffic and inquiries to kickstart their operations.

From this point, our SEO strategy was to ensure that the website was targeting every relevant keyword in Reno, Nevada, and Northern California. We built out pages targeting these locations, as well as groups that they treat, like First Responders. We began building links from high domain authority websites to these pages. Our team created a Google Business Profile, optimized it, and helped drive positive reviews to the profile.
Our Paid Ads team identified that The Differents, as a new facility operating with a limited budget, required a tailored approach to their advertising strategy. To ensure their campaigns were both cost-effective and highly competitive within the crowded rehab space, we crafted a solution that leveraged their unique program features.The strategy began by highlighting these distinct elements in both ad copy and landing pages, which were designed to resonate with potential clients and their families. As an agency, we also utilized proprietary data to identify high-impact keywords that would drive visibility and engagement, ultimately leading to admits (both commercial & private pays) for the facility. This data-driven approach allowed us to efficiently target keywords that aligned with the client’s niche offerings and ensure ads were shown to those most likely to convert.
Given their limited budget, we segmented their campaigns by creating individualized, hyper-focused campaigns, each designed to target specific geographic locations. This granular targeting helped ensure that the campaigns were optimized to perform efficiently in the most relevant markets, maximizing budget allocation while minimizing wasted spend while scaling the budget in 50% increments monthly.

In addition, we’ve continued to see an increase in traffic and conversions month over month, with The Differents now ranking for almost 500 relevant keywords (from zero).
