Freelance Writer

MGMT Digital is a digital marketing agency dedicated to providing ethical marketing for the behavioral healthcare industry. We are experts in everything from SEO and PPC to video marketing and branding. At MGMT, we are passionate about marketing with a mission and ensuring that our work is making a positive impact on others’ lives.

The Social Media Manager role would be a valued team member who will manage our client’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. Managing these accounts would include following a posting schedule, creating captions, creating graphics, and building a following. This is a full-time, fully remote role. This role will sometimes extend beyond the responsibilities listed below, as we are a very collaborative, small, and tight-knit team.

  • Oversee day-to-day management of Instagram and Facebook profiles and ensure brand consistency
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness on Instagram and Facebook for 35-40 accounts
  • Create weekly posting schedule and content calendar
  • Create 1 graphic with a caption per account each week
  • Ensure each Instagram post is shared on Facebook
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology (Addiction Recovery, Mental Health, Behavioral Healthcare, Drug and Alcohol Treatment)
  • Ensure appropriate hashtags are utilized in each caption
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between followers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers on Instagram
  • Ensure progress on Instagram by using analytical tools
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience in the behavioral healthcare industry preferred
  • Experience writing captions and creating hashtags in a professional context
  • Experience creating graphics for social media posts
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience in Photoshop, WordPress Canva, and/or Premiere
  • Be able to identify and analyze trends
  • Experiencing managing multiple social media accounts
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammar skills
  • Self-starter, creative thinker, problem solver
  • Detail-focused
  • Experience writing email templates preferred
